I have returned REFRESHED!

It has been a few weeks since I last posted. I am sorry for the delay, but I have been on the go most days here lately! Weekend before last, we camped at Tannehill to celebrate my sister-in-law Marie's birthday. It was such a beautiful weekend! God provided a gorgeous, comfortable setting that we could enjoy with the boys by taking them on walks and letting them play in the pack 'n play outside. Then, this past weekend, I enjoyed a Women's Weekend Getaway with my Mom's church. We traveled to Pigeon Forge, TN on Thursday and enjoyed some rest and relaxation while at the same time having our hearts refreshed by wonderful women speakers. We had the opportunity to hear and meet Candace Cameron, Debbie Morris, Sandi Patty and a Christian female comedian Sylvia Harney. I invite anyone reading this to research these ladies. They all have tremendous stories and have books, CDs, etc. available. It was such a great weekend and I have returned with renewed desires of my heart to be better. First and foremost, a better Christian and child of God, a better wife and mother and better witness and testimony for the Lord. I find it difficult sometimes, well most days really, to stay on task and have quiet time with my Father. It has become more of the norm to not have quiet time than to have it. That realization has made me sad and I pray for the discipline and dedication to get back into a better routine of including Him and making him FIRST in my life and my family's. We live busy lives, but we should never be too busy to pause and talk to the One who allows us to enjoy all that we do.
