Logan's Big Day!!

Logan's Offical Birthday Is Here!!!

Birth: 7lbs, 12oz - 20" Long

1 Year Old: 20lbs, 4 oz - 29.5" Long

Our baby is growing up so fast! He's walking and talking and keeping us on our toes! He eats like a horse, but is never still unless he's sleeping so he burns some major calories. We enjoyed the day as a family. We started with taking Logan for his 12 mth check-up with Dr. Farr. He did have to get three immunizations, so that wasn't much of a birthday present, but he handled them like a champ as usual. We then went to lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. Truthfully, that was more for Brian and myself than the birthday boy, but he had a good time anyway as he gobbled down their awesome egg bread grilled cheese. After we left there, poor little guy passed out from exhaustion and slept for two hours. So, we waited until after dinner to have a little cupcake smashing fun. As you can see, he enjoyed every last bite! It's so bittersweet to think about him being one year old already. It was exciting and fun to celebrate and also is exciting to think about the new milestones we have ahead, but breaks my heart a little to see how quickly he's outgrowing being a baby! Right now, he wants me to cuddle him, pick him up, read to him, etc., but I know he has to grow up and he won't things like that are so cool anymore. Oh well, that's life and that's why I plan on finding little treasures with him everyday that I can...
