We spent Labor Day Weekend camping at Wind Creek State Park in Alexander City on Lake Martin. It was extremely nice! They have over 600 campsites, but it never seemed crowded. Logan truly enjoyed running and playing and has the scraped knees and elbows to prove it! He loves playing outside so much that he cries when we have to bring him in. He never ceases to amaze me at how much energy he has! His desire to explore and discover new things is fun, but also a bit worrisome to a Mom! I proudly describe him as fearless, but at the same time I know that could be a bad thing if we're not careful to help him understand differences with certain things. 
We also had a full blow tailgate party, only among our camping friends and not at a stadium, to celebrate 2009 Kickoff. We enjoyed a feast of ribs, chicken, boston butt, brisket and all the trimmings! We settled in to watch THE games and cheer our teams on to victory. Notice the emphasis on THE as we all know that live in Alabama, there are only two real games on Saturdays! All in all, it was a great weekend and is always nice to get away and relax with family and friends.
